Workplace Human Capital Management is looking for an experienced BDM!  

The Business Development Manager will identify and create new qualified sales opportunities and business channels for Workplace HCM.  This position includes managing inbound and outbound lead activity and marketing to grow brand recognition within the community.  The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building relationships with individuals and companies in the community in order to sell the company’s products and services and reach internal sales goals. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

Qualified candidates will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Research accounts to identify point of contact
  • Follow up on all leads and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Utilize cold-calling and email marketing to prospect into multiple organizations with the expectation of 60 touches per day
  • Manage and Overcome objections
  • Develop exceptional prospect relationships
  • Communicate with clients through telephone and email
  • Schedule all first-time appointments for field sales representatives
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas as set by Workplace HCM
  • Maintain all activity in Workplace HCM proprietary database
  • Become a peer mentor to new team members by offering support training, job shadowing and guidance
  • Be the responsible party for any "complex" projects which require advanced analysis and support
  • Provide weekly activity reports to the leadership team
  • Complete continued educational opportunities, including webinars and research online

Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess the following qualities:

  • Experienced in selling HR & Payroll service, a MUST
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with all forms of technology, including email, voicemail, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
